How was the sno-cross? I wish I could've gone, but I had to stay local because of on-call, and committing to the ToyotaNation meet.

Haven't opened them yet was hoping for some opinions on the matter. Especially compared to tC stock speakers.

i dont think you'll be happy with the sound quality with the tweeters down low in the door with the mids compared to where they are now.i would spring for a decent set of separates to put in the stock locations

So Toyota of Nashua did not want to give me a quote on how much they would charge to install my lip kit, because I did not buy it from them.[Lame] almost none of them seem to want to do it and are giving me the run around. I think I would feel more comfortable if someone like a dealer installed the kit seeing as how they probably have installed hundreds already. I certainly don't feel comfortable drilling holes in my bumper and want the job done perfectly.

From what I have read on the instal, on the back of the bumper there are markings where to drill. It's complete bs because I have all the pieces and parts in the box just as if they had ordered it for without their high price. I just want them to instal the front/rear. I'm pretty picky about it seeing as how there is only on shot to get it on straight.

most dealers don't install the big stuff like that.they usually farm it out to the port because they don't make any money on it and they do it cheaper than it cost to pay a tech in house

yeah most dealerships suck. you kind of have to know somebody who works for them to get any work out of them. i personally would just go to various body shops and ask how much experience they have with installing stuff like that. the one time i've ever had a body shop do aftermarket work for me, i was very pleased. i had eastern auto body in manchester cut my bumper on my neon for an aftermarket dual exhaust

I'm trying to get the box "show ready" for the Rockland Scion show (May 1st). I got the alignment done today, so I can change out the snow "shoes". Anyone else interested in riding down to that show with me? Hoping for good weather!

Chris-do you have that strip liner thing the OEM one comes with? Super easy, shouldn't pay someone to do it... front just glides on perfect. I change mine back and forth all the time, my CF one is the one that leaves marks, not the OEM painted one. welcome to install it at my house if you don't around getting to it by then. (=
