unichip does the same thing as any other piggyback.... really only meant for FI applications.

If it's worth the 5hp to you than go for it. Someone in the Matrix community put one on his 2.4 XRS and that's what he got to the wheels. The guy is suppose to be going turbo this summer which is why he originally bought it. So there is power to be had going N/A, but for the price it's definitly not worth it.

if you order it direct from them rather than a re-seller, supposedly they will enable the removal of the top end goveners that limit our cars...

TRD sparks has the chip for the xB2 which removes the speed governor

Are there any chips that work well with the tc and give decent HP and TORQUE?

any piggyback is not worth the bullshit on a non FI car. dont bother.

400 for the unit, another 3 for the pnp harness, and 500 to tune. for 5whp.

no.

not really sure where you have your work done but those prices are kinda steep. im throwing in the aem fic mostly cause im throwing in a super charge but i got the unit for 350 and i know for a fact the boomslang harness is 279 and to tune all you need is a laptop and its really not that hard to tune a car. im having it installed only cause there is not boomslang harnes for the xB2 yet. but ill be tuning it. with the info ive looked at and reviewed i should look at anywhere from a 5%to 14% increase in horsepower and 5 to 17% increase in torque from stock. so thats like 679 for a 7.9 to 22.12 horspower. 85 bucks per horspower sounds good to me...

dude, whoever said that is feeding you some horse shit.

You will never see 22WHP from a tune on a NA motor.

dude. i said 400 for the FIC and 300 for the harness. u say 350 and 279...not a big difference lmao

and do some more research because they do have a harness for the xb2 for the FIC...AEM makes it themselves

and 400-500 is the going rate to dyno tune a car at any resonably competent speedshop. You dont only need a laptop lol.

and tuning a car is nottttttttt easy bro. its not a joke. do u know what the formula is for a base vacuum figure for 550cc injectors? what about calculating timing changes? Computing from a base map for elevation discrepancies? Voltages for 02 spoofing? How about clamping the MAF correctly and setting the voltages?

im not trying to be a dick but unless you have the s/c in your car already, dont put it in because on a stock car (I/H/E is stock IMO) you aint gettin nowhere fast man.

i have to ask too, there's a speed governor in the xb2? i havent taken it any quicker than 105 mph, at which point i lose confidence in the handling thanks to my budget cooper tires. anyway i'd say the box is drag limited or just geared to 130-135 mph.

the xB2 is governed, just not sure how fast... i would assume its around the same speed as the tC which is 127
