Post LED INFO FOR TC
Ok, I have finally finished my project of replacing every bulb on my car with LEDs. This includes interior and exterior. So what the hell does this do?

Well, for starters, you save well over 100 watts of drain from your electrical system. Depending on your sound setup, this could fix dimming headlights, and RPM drops as your bass hits. Also frees up some available wattage for future mods.

LEDs also last about 10 times longer than normal bulbs. This means, pending failure of the LED for some reason, you will probably never change another bulb in your car again.

LEDs are also "instant on - instant off". Personally I love the effect of all my lights being in perfect sync when I hit the unlock button on my remote. Or when you turn on your parking lights, and the whole car lights up like a spaceship. BAM!

Anyways, I did a TON of research to make sure I got all the correct parts. I ordered all my LEDs from http://www.superbrightleds.com. I am posting the parts and their purpose here for all of you who would like to do this mod yourself. Total cost was somewhere around $110 for everything.

The quantities listed below include a single spare. I would suggest ordering as I did to keep a spare on hand just in case.

Also note that I included the part number for the flasher to keep your turn signals from flashing fast. The correct part number for our car is: CF18-08

Anyways:

************INTERIOR SECTION****************

Quantity: 3 << Map lights
Product: WLED 6-LED bulb $ 2.79 (each)

Quantity: 2 <<Front and Rear dome lights
Product: 3022-x4 LED Festoon bulb $ 1.89 (each)
Options: White 0.95

Quantity: 2 <<Trunk light REQUIRES SOME SIMPLE MOD TO FIXTURE
Product: 3910-x6 LED Festoon bulb $ 1.95 (each)

Quantity: 3 <<"Cubby hole" and auto shift indicator light
Product: 74 Wedge Base LED bulb $ 1.19 (each)

**************EXTERIOR SECTION*****************

Quantity: 5 << "Lexus style" license plate lights & running lights (small lights under headlights ( If you have halogen (stock) headlights, I would not recommend replacing this light as the heat will kill the LED.)
Product: WLED-WHP Pure White High Power $ 4.95 (each)

Quantity: 1 << Flasher unit for LEDs. See post above
Product: LED bulb Flasher Unit $ 12.95 (each)
Options: CF18-08

Quantity: 3 << Rear turn signal bulbs.
Product: 7440-15 LED bulb $ 6.99 (each)
Options: White

Quantity: 4 << Front turn signal bulbs.
Product: 7440-15 LED bulb $ 6.99 (each)
Options: Amber

Quantity: 3 << Corner marker lights
Product: WLED 6-LED bulb $ 2.79 (each)
Options: White

Notice the color difference for the front and rear turn signals. The rear bulbs are white and the fronts are amber. This is for the stock look. You could order different colors to get different effects, but I did not try this.

There's really nothing to take a pic of. I think everyone has seen the Lexus style lic. plate lights before. The others will basically look like stock. The biggest reason for the total change out is the reduction in power used.

when you say "Trunk light REQUIRES SOME SIMPLE MOD TO FIXTURE"

what exactly is the mod?

also, the "auto shift indicator light"... guessing that isnt needed on a M/T so quantity can be cut to 2?

finally, the Map lights seem to be $0.95 extra for white... is this new since you bought yours?

the trunk light is real easy. its basically the same bulb as the dome light just make sure to get a single bulb led cause its a very small light. im halfway done with making mine all green and white on the inside. and i suggest pure white from superbright leds for the map light - so bright.
